Dr. Alma Tasevska

Associate professor

Prof. Dr. Alma Tasevska was born in 1982 in Skopje. She enrolled in undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, in the study program in Pedagogy. She graduated in 2004 with an average of 9.64. In 2005 she enrolled in postgraduate studies (preschool direction) and completed them with an average of 10.00. After defending her master’s thesis in June 2008, entitled: “Waldorf pedagogical conception, theoretical foundations and didactic-methodical organization”, she obtained a master’s degree in pedagogical sciences. She defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Play activity as a methodological concept in the first educational cycle” in April 2012 at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, earning her the title of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences.

In March 2006 she was elected a junior assistant in the fields: Pedagogy, Methodology and Didactics at the Institute of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. She was elected assistant professor in September 2012, and since November 2017 she has been working as an associate professor at the Institute of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. Prof. Dr. Alma Tasevska has realized study stays and scientific research work at renowned universities in Germany, the Netherlands, Croatia.

She is a member of the following commissions and working groups: Commission for International Cooperation at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje; Commission for licensing of employees in kindergartens, at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy; Working group for development of the model of (re) licensing of employees in kindergartens, UNICEF and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy; Vice President of the Commission for verification of the licensing process of employees in kindergartens, at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy; Working group for development of a national strategy for diaspora, education sector; Commission for editing the Annual Proceedings of the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje.

СShe develops her scientific research work through participation in numerous national and international project activities, such as:
